Half of an SEO budget is spent fixing development decisions. It’s cheaper to build the base right — here’s what must be ready before launch.
Semantics before design
Collect the semantic core, design the page structure for that demand, then design visuals. Retrofitting structure onto a finished design leaves key queries without landing pages.
The technical base
Clean URLs, one H1, unique titles and descriptions, canonicals, XML sitemap and robots.txt, redirects, Schema.org markup, proper 404s — and Core Web Vitals. Migrations require a 301 map or accumulated rankings reset.
Content and metadata
Every important page answers a specific query with substance, related answers and internal links. Write for people, mark up for machines.
Connect on day one
Yandex Webmaster and Metrica, Google Search Console, goals on forms and calls — otherwise promotion is blind.
